About the Scholarship Program...Perrysburg Orchestra Boosters strongly believe that access to private lessons builds more confident musicians. The growth of the Perrysburg Schools Orchestras over the past two decades can largely be attributed to superior classroom directors, but also to the broad investment in private instruction.
The goal of our scholarship program is to enhance students' musical education through access to private string lessons. While private instruction is not a requirement of the orchestra classes, students who participate in private lessons are frequently able to share what they have learned with fellow students, thus strengthening our orchestras as a whole. Every school year, Perrysburg Orchestra Boosters award multiple scholarships to orchestra students based on students' submitted applications. Scholarships can be used for private lesson instruction, Strings on Fire! Summer Lesson Program, or other summer music camps. |
